Welcome
Latest News:This gardening website offers you, the new gardener, experienced gardener or student, ideas and advice to further your knowledge and subsequent enjoyment of all things gardening. You will find advice on vegetable growing, crop rotation, herbaceous perennials, composts, butterfly attractants, monthly advice pages and more. Scroll through the FAQ's to find answers to questions such as: hedge planting, trees and shrubs for berries, blackspot on roses, cabbage root fly etc. etc. Gardeningknowledge.co.uk, does not celebrate 'Celebrity' gardeners or conceptual gardening, but is a down to earth gardening website advising on traditional methods, ideas and practises. Where the letters AGM appears after specific plants this indicates that the Award of Garden Merit has been awarded to that plant by the Royal Horticultural Society. The RHS recommends these plants as being particularly garden worthy.
As the site develops, there will be an opportunity to join a members' area, offering more in-depth information on gardening and horticultural subjects, such as the nitrogen cycle, manure and humus, the primula auricula, the soil, fertilisers and fertilisation, photosynthesis, sportsgrounds maintenance and more. There will be the opportunity to download high quality flower photographs. Also on occasions, there will be rooted auricula offsets and other seedlings and small plants for sale, expertly packaged and sent by Royal Mail first class post.
